So I had a nice photo of the border between Canada and America but lost my iPad somewhere. Thank goodness for travel insurance, though the claim process will be a slight hassle I guess. I really enjoyed Niagara falls but driving 14 hours to get there and back was a trek just to see a couple of waterfalls. The American Falls are bogus and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls are the main attraction.
We went on the Maid of the Mist boat ride and saw the falls from up close. I thought it was amazing seeing all that water coming down. Marta on the other hand was a little disappointed. She thought the falls would be twice as big though so that's why. For the amount of time the boat ride lasted it was expensive ($20), but as an attraction cost I felt it was okay. You can also stand next to the falls and watch the water drop down. I was surprised how accessible it all was and definitely appreciated the free view from the top.
We only spent about 12 hours in Canada before heading to Boston.
Note: Photos of the rest of the US trip are being developed by our friend in NY Melissa, as we horribly found out that nowhere in NYC do they develop film in house anymore!
